NO PROJECT  ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE ARE WELCOME  No sewing in this class.

A Power Point presentation on batting choices, basting methods, marking and the rocking stitch will be shared. Many of Darlene’s hand quilted quilts will be displayed. Traditional design choices will be discussed. An easy method of Trapunto will also be demonstrated.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:  NONE  Samples of HOBBS Wool & Silk will be shared.

CLASS ROOM SET UP:  [Number of students 25 for stated fee + $10.00 for each additional person. No limit.]

Two 8’ tables and four extra chairs for the instructor. Theatre style seating is fine. Can the room be darkened for a Power Point presentation? Is there a large white wall? Will everyone hear well?

Darlene may offer a few items for sale during class such as books, patterns, pencils, sharpeners, pins and needles and thread packs when available and appropriate. No percentage of sales will be taken by the hiring party. Quilt shops are welcome to discuss consignment options.
