PROJECT ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE KIT Follow one 18” block while learning marking, basting, batting choices, tradition design choices and improving the rocking stitch. Finish into a pillow top or small quilt.
A Power Point presentation opens the class presenting the step by step process followed by ‘hands on’ practice. This enables every person to see and hear in the comfort of their chair.
$6.00 KIT INCLUDES: 18” squares of fabrics and batting [HOBBS WOOL & SILK] Top is marked. #12 between needles.
SUPPLIES NEEDED: Thimble and misc. hand sewing tools. Small - sharp scissors for threads,14” round – wooden quilting hoop [not embroidery], YLI hand quilting thread in BROWN or GRAY.
OPTIONAL: Clover brand ‘Hera’ marking tool, med. Cutting mat, cutting ruler at least 24” long.
CLASS ROOM SET UP: Two irons and boards per every 12 students, ample lighting & table space for each student, two 8’ tables and four extra chairs for the instructor where possible. Can the room be darkened for a Power Point presentation? Is there a white wall?
